Career Renew is partnering with an innovative blockchain lottery startup to hire a Founding Software Engineer – Gaming. This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, with flexibility for remote work within US time zones.
Our client is building the world’s largest online jackpot—already crypto’s biggest, with daily million-dollar prizes and over $50M in jackpots managed. The mission: transform the $355B global lottery market by moving it online, leveraging blockchain technology for transparency, liquidity, and global reach.
🚀 About the Project
While most lotteries remain offline due to regulation and physical ticket sales, this platform uses blockchain immutability and a unique liquidity provider mechanism to return up to 10x more to players than traditional games. Third-party developers can sell tickets directly via SDKs, with crypto casinos and Telegram mini apps already integrating the product.
💼 Your Role
- Lead development of a mobile web app that’s fast, user-friendly, and crypto-abstracted for mainstream adoption.
- Build SDKs and APIs for third-party integrations (Telegram mini apps, crypto casinos, incentive-based apps).
- Create scalable interfaces adaptable across dApps, wallets, and multiple chains (EVM, TON, Solana).
- Develop backend features such as on-chain points systems and payment provider integrations.
- Collaborate on strategy, product, design, compliance, and go-to-market initiatives as a founding team member.
- Participate in early hiring to shape company culture and engineering standards.
📌 Requirements
- 5+ years as a software engineer (with at least 1 year as a tech lead or engineering manager).
- Experience building and scaling apps to 1M+ users.
- Proven startup experience and adaptability to wear multiple hats.
- Based in a US timezone (GMT-5 to GMT-8).
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150K – $225K
- Equity: 1.5–3%+ with a 7-year exercise window
