🎯 The Role: Senior DeFi Business Development
We’re hiring a Senior DeFi BD to lead and scale BOB’s DeFi ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone deeply involved in DeFi — whether from working at a leading protocol, fund, or L1/L2 ecosystem. You will own the strategy and execution to make BOB the top destination for BTC-based DeFi.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- DeFi Ecosystem Growth: Onboard tier-1 protocols and novel primitives that align with BOB’s vision.
- Operations: Ensure DeFi infrastructure (bridges, oracles, etc.) is live and effective. Track TVL, trading volume, and ecosystem activity.
- Project Support: Support builders on BOB to improve UX and onboard liquidity.
- Incentive Programs: Design and manage data-driven ecosystem campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Capital Relations: Build relationships with LPs, funds, and trading firms deploying into BOB-native DeFi.
- Positioning: Collaborate with product and marketing to promote BOB’s DeFi stack across partners.
- Market Intelligence: Stay on top of DeFi trends and identify new integration opportunities.
📌 Requirements
- 5+ years in DeFi, crypto VC, or BD at an L1/L2 or top protocol.
- Track record of building/managing DeFi ecosystems.
- In-depth knowledge of DeFi mechanics (liquidity, staking, yield, etc.).
- Strong network across DeFi protocols, capital allocators, and infrastructure providers.
- Founder-like mindset, proactive and strategic in execution.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across teams.
💡 Nice to Have
- Experience with a major L2 (e.g., Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Scroll).
- Power user of DeFi protocols yourself.
